(February 2009) - Sweetwater Construction Corp., a recognized leader in New Jersey construction, management and general contracting, recently announced that it has completed general construction services for a new cutting-edge orthopedics and sports medicine institute in Freehold, N.J.
The Advanced Orthopedics and Sports Medicine Institute, which is operated by Orthopedic Realty Associates LLC, is a 25,000-square-foot build-out within a new medical office complex at Pond View Professional Park at 1101 West Main St. The new facility has been meticulously designed to enhance services and efficiently tend to patients’ needs.

The Institute prides itself on its medical expertise and close doctor-patient relationships that contribute to the healing process.
The Institute’s services include sports medicine, joint replacement, fracture care, spine care, work injury care, hand and wrist care, physiatry, osteoporosis care and foot and ankle care. Its seven practicing physicians have a combined 100 years of experience in providing exceptional orthopedic care to the New Jersey community.
“We are enjoying the many significant benefits of being together, conveniently providing all of our orthopedic services under one roof, and making the most of the state-of-the-art construction of this excellent purpose-built medical complex,” said Dr. Michael J. Greller, president of the Institute.
He added that the Institute has a physical therapy clinic, Advanced Physical Therapy of Freehold, in the same facility.
The institute’s layout consists of a large reception area with two check-in windows and multiple patient waiting areas, as well as doctor’s offices, conference rooms, exam rooms, scan and x-ray rooms and a rehabilitation and treatment area. Many rooms are equipped with special features such as raised flooring, security grilles, built-in sprinkler systems and state-of-the-art audio-visual and medical equipment.
The facility was designed by Iselin, N. J.-based Aztec Corporation.
