Sweetwater Construction Corp. Announces Morris County Surgical Center Is Now Under Construction
Facility Will Be Sweetwater’s 15th Surgical Center
PARSIPPANY, N.J. (MARCH 2009) - Sweetwater Construction Corp., a recognized leader in New Jersey construction, management and general contracting, recently announced that the 12,000-square-foot Morris County Surgical Center is now under construction at 3695 Hill Rd. in Parsippany, N.J.
The project will be the 15th surgical center that Sweetwater has built in New Jersey over the past five years.
The surgical center is owned by the Morris County Surgical Center and managed by Ambulatory Management LLC. The property, which is being developed by Hill Road Properties LLC, also includes an additional 8,000 square feet of medical offices.
All types of ambulatory surgery (defined as involving a stay of less than a day) will be conducted at the surgical center, which is slated for completion at the end of June. The center will house three operating rooms and two endoscopy rooms, and will be staffed by 33 doctors and 45 additional medical professionals.
The facility is being built in a former office building that is undergoing a complete interior and exterior renovation, including recladding and a new roof. Sweetwater Construction, which is based in Cranbury, N.J., is providing preconstruction and
construction management services.
