Sweetwater & Design-Build Team to Fitout Space for International Packaging Company

Cranbury, N.J. (January, 2012) Sweetwater Construction Corp., a recognized leader in New Jersey construction management and general contracting, will soon begin construction at Quality Packaging Specialists International (QPSI)’s new location in Macungie, Pennsylvania.

QPSI offers single-source contract packaging and supply chain solutions to the pharmaceutical, healthcare, beauty, consumer goods and electronics industries. The Macungie facility will market to world-class pharmaceutical companies, and package prescription and OTC pharmaceuticals. This 87,000 square-foot facility will include a GMP production area containing Class 100,000 primary packaging suites and secondary packaging suites. The GMP warehouse will hold a DEA vault, cold storage, QA inspection and quarantine areas, and pallet storage.

Also included are offices with reception, conference rooms, training rooms, locker rooms, customer work area, and kitchen.

The project is being designed by Posen Architects of West Orange, NJ.
