Electronics Technology - Ewing, NJ Sweetwater completed 4 projects, the first two being office fit-outs and Class 100, 10,000, and 100,000 clean rooms. The final two were design-build to expand a Class 100,000 clean room, construct electronics labs and wet chemistry lab with 18 fan hoods, with high purity N2, compressed air, DI water, chilled water, and several levels of electrical service.
Pharmaceutical Labs - Peapack, NJ Sweetwater completed the relocation and renovation of 3 labs, totaling 5,400 SF, from one site to another. Scope included demolition and reconfiguration to include installation of raised floor and new lab furniture, modifications to sprinkler, HVAC with new chilled water floor mounted units, electrical, plumbing, and new lighting and finishes.
Chemistry Labs/Testing/Office - Piscataway, NJ Sweetwater, as CM, constructed this creative center to include chemistry labs and robot areas with casework, fume hoods, epoxy floors, and 100% outside-air HVAC. Aroma testing booths, and the facility, needed precise HVAC control and pressurizations to avoid crossover of fragrances from one area to another.
Tissue Testing Lab - New Providence, NJ
This 47,000 SF headquarters relocation buildout by Sweetwater included a 5,000 square-foot, fully-accredited transplant testing laboratory, highlighted by a full wall of glass open to the outdoors as well as to public and staff view. Scope included reception, interview rooms, locker and showers, cafe, offices, and call center.
Warehouse Conversion to R&D - Clark, NJ
Sweetwater completed the upgrade of warehouse space for use as a GLP Research and Development Laboratory. Building modifications included additional HVAC modifications to meet air change requirements, structural modifications for support of rooftop equipment, new laboratory drainage system, new utilities and several thousand feet of "xp" space.
Manufacturing/Pilot Plant - Teterboro, NJ
Sweetwater performed several projects for this manufacturing facility including a raw material pilot plant to add process capacity. The project consisted of a three-story facility expansion, and installation of raw material storage and conveyance piping. Jacketed reactor process piping instrumentation was included as components of this project.
R&D Headquarters - East Windsor, NJ
As General Contractor, Sweetwater renovated to create a national R&D headquarters, accommodating client's rapid growth. Within an increasingly occupied facility, constructed a GMP Pilot Plant, offices, and R & D areas with 2 Class 10,000 clean rooms outfitted with laminar flow HVAC and airlocks.
Clinical Cell Therapy Clean Room - Warren, NJ
Sweetwater completed a Class 10,000 clean room for the study and harvesting of cells. Built to the highest standards with stainless steel ceilings, HEPA filtration and seamless floors, rooms sustained validation testing for pressurization, air leaks, and proper laminar air flows. Mezzanine constructed to house extensive HVAC equipment required.
Manufacturing/R&D/Office Headquarters - Robbinsville, NJ
As General Contractor, Sweetwater participated in the renovation of 118,000 SF for the relocation of this world leader in the production of security and authentication holograms. Highlights of this project include R&D labs and offices, electronic and wet labs, and a quality assurance area.
Manufacturing/Office - Flanders, New Jersey
Sweetwater, as CM, completed this 100,000 SF renovation project for a medical diagnostic equipment client. Scope consisted of a two-story office addition, addition to manufacturing space with mezzanine, and interior renovation. The additions were steel-frame and pre-cast concrete construction.
Medical Device Manufacturing/R&D - Parsippany, NJ
Sweetwater performed this multi-phase office and training facility renovation, consisting of a total 37 custom training benches, state-of-the-art video conference rooms and staff offices. Included installation of lab gases and associated piping, 50hp air compressor and distribution piping, electrical panels, transformer and lighting, AHU and controls.
Manufacturing/Headquarters - Montvale, NJ
Sweetwater completed this renovation/relocation to include manufacturing, shipping area and offices. Epoxy-coated flooring houses stamping, annealing, machining, and printing machines that required elaborate array of utility feeds from above and below. Coordinated install of mezzanine and managed equipment transfer and installation from other facilities.
